On April 25th 2017, The Gene Jackson Trio went in to record at Tedesco Studios, what will be the first Gene Jackson recording as a leader. Gene Jackson is known for his extended collaborations with Herbie Hancock Trio/Quartet as well as Dave Holland among many others. I am very excited on the upcoming release of this session which features 3 originals of mine as well as two originals by our bassist Carlo De Rosa.
