People often ask me about this so I recently found this old video jamming with the great Paquito back in 1997, a year before I moved to New York.
On late May I was part of a recording session for the new upcoming Bruce Gertz release late this year.
The line up features Jerry Bergonzi, George Garzone – tenor saxophones, Bruce Gertz – bass, Luther Gray-drums, and Gabriel Guerrero-piano. This was a very fun session featuring music by Bruce, Jerry and George. Stay tuned for future release this year!
New recording finished in October 2012 at PBS studios, with original music by Bruce Gertz, Jerry Bergonzi, and Gabriel Guerrero. Featuring: Jerry Bergonzi sax, Phil Grenadier-trumpet, Gabriel Guerrero-piano, Austin McMahon-drums, and Bruce Gertz-bass.
This is our 3rd release on the Open Mind Jazz Label.
